SELLING WITH US
At Kemps we have a large selection of second hand and vintage jewellery. We are always interested in expanding that collection with items that you may no longer desire. Should you have any gold or platinum pieces that you have considered selling, please do not hesitate to visit us in store for an appraisal.
Should your pieces not be of saleable condition, we also consider purchasing gold and platinum for scrap.
VALUATIONS
We offer valuations for insurance or probate purposes with a starting fee of £85 and £50 for each additional item sent. Our registered valuer takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
REPAIRS
We work with a team of internal and external workshops who specialise in jewellery, watch and clock repairs.
Jewellery repairs can involve work on gold, silver and platinum items. To list a few of the jewellery repair services we can accomodate; ring re-sizing, chain soldering, new half shanks, claw re-tipping, re-modelling jewellery to any desired design and replacement of missing stones.
Our onsite watch specialist can help with a range of watch repairs including; glass replacements, button and stem replacements, link removal, battery replacements, and some minor watch repairs i.e. main springs. (Battery replacements are one of the more common procedures handled daily, we have the reseal facilities to reseal your watch to the manufacturers specifications).
We also do traditional clock and watch repairs, including restoration and servicing.
